Ultimate Products are a multi-million-pound international business, and we are looking for talented graduates to join our development programme this summer in our Supply Chain. You will be working at the heart of the business liaising with the Far East to meet our customers requirements and ensure all products are shipped on time. Working within our Supply Chain you must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly to find solutions.

Your key responsibilities could include:

The Forward Order Merchandiser (FOM) role is fundamental within the wider supply functions of UP. A FOM is the key link that connects all internal and external parties together within the order management process, to ensure all key tasks are completed from manufacturing through to delivery.

• Project managing key order projects for Major International Retailers such as Tesco, Asda and B&M worth millions
• Leading Internal departments to work together to meet key customer requirements
• Attending and leading key meetings within our supply chain including our China team, factories, customers and internal departments to ensure on time delivery and successful completion of each project
• Chase sales confirmations back from the supplier/Far East agents and ensuring supplier understands the deadlines that they need to adhere to.
• Identify any orders that are potentially going to be delayed; escalating to management and take remedial action.

What we look for

Candidates must be ambitious, driven and enthusiastic, with an interest in pursuing a career in a leading international business. Application requirements:

• A degree essential at 2:1 or above. All specialisms considered
• Minimum 6-12 months experience either full time or part time
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
• Assertive and confident with a proactive approach to work
